  • 'Hands On' will be our first rock album featuring less MIDI instrumentation and more real instruments. We hope it creates a much more lifelike sound.
  • Musically, it is a rock album in the classic sense, but with prog-rock elements which make it more interesting - especially as it is presented as a concept album based on the theme of musicianship. It will feature a Hammond D organ, Gibson SG, Ibanez guitar, Ovation acoustic guitar, National slide guitar and Yamaha 5 string fretless bass, and a Yamaha digital drum kit.

The John Lister Project aims to provide hard rock, prog rock and classic rock style of music with all original songs. We hope you enjoy what you hear.
